Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a respected organization in the affordable housing and property management industry to identify four Property Accountants for a contract opportunity in Tukwila, WA. We’re seeking accounting professionals with strong property accounting experience and hands-on Yardi expertise who can quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Analyze variances and research accounting discrepancies
- Support property-level accounting, cash management, and reporting
- Maintain financial and tenant records within Yardi
- Partner with property management and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property management, real estate, housing, or a related industry
- Yardi experience required
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
