Facilities Administrator (Part‑Time, Temp Role)
Location: Irving, TX (onsite)
Schedule: Part‑time, approximately 30 hours/week
Pay Rate: $23-$26/hour
Assignment Length: Minimum of 3 months, with potential to extend (open‑ended)
Work Environment: 100% onsite
Position Overview
A well‑established manufacturing organization is seeking a part‑time Facilities Administrator to support its facilities operations team. This position is administrative in nature and does not involve hands‑on maintenance or repair work.
The role supports the Facilities Manager by helping keep facilities projects, vendors, and documentation organized and on track.
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Facilities Manager
Schedule Details
- Typical working hours are around 9:00am-4:00pm
- Flexibility is required
- Some days may require earlier start times or longer hours depending on contractor schedules
- Hours may vary day‑to‑day
- The role may require escorting or monitoring vendors/contractors within secure or restricted facility areas
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for facilities operations
- Assist with:
- Tracking facilities projects and timelines
- Managing and monitoring work orders
- Keeping facilities‑related projects organized and progressing
- Calendar coordination and scheduling support
- Ongoing computer‑based work, documentation, and data tracking
- General administrative assistance as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly:
- Outlook
- Excel
- Proven ability to manage calendars independently
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Interest in facilities, operations, or corporate support functions is a plus
