Our client, a consulting and professional services technology marketplace, is seeking a Temporary Support Operations Associate to join their team on a full-time, onsite basis in Boston. This is a 3-5 month contract position covering a maternity leave, with standard hours of 9:00 AM-5:00 PM and a pay rate of $25/hour. The company operates in a fast-paced, startup-style environment focused on connecting experienced consultants with organizations seeking flexible, high-impact expertise. Job Responsibilities:
- Resolve client and expert inquiries accurately and efficiently via email and phone
- Triage incoming support requests and flag trends or issues to internal teams
- Support user onboarding at key lifecycle stages with thoughtful, personalized communication
- Build strong product knowledge to proactively anticipate user needs
- Identify, reproduce, and document technical bugs for Product and Engineering teams
- Review and assess new expert profiles for marketplace readiness
- Coach experts on how to effectively position their experience on the platform
- Collaborate internally to support matching experts with marketplace opportunities
Candidate Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in customer support, operations, or a related internship
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and technical aptitude
- Able to manage multiple priorities and shift between tasks throughout the day
- Collaborative and relationship-focused across cross-functional teams
- Motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a strong work ethic
