Our client, an aerospace technology company, is seeking a HR Generalist position to join their team on a temporary basis in Dulles, Viriginia.
About The Job:
- Support end‑to‑end onboarding for new hires, including I‑9s, security briefings, and mentor program logistics
- Partner with managers on HR fundamentals, labor law compliance, timekeeping, and leave administration
- Assist with recruitment processes and ensure position descriptions are audit‑ready and inclusive
- Maintain accurate, organized, and audit‑ready digital HR systems
- Support compliance with applicable labor laws and government contracting requirements
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, benefits support, and day‑to‑day HR needs
- Utilize AI tools to support communications, resume triage, and process improvements while maintaining a human touch
About You:
- 5+ years of hands‑on HR experience; government contracting or manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience standardizing HR processes and supporting compliance for growing organizations
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes clearly and empathetically
- Comfortable using technology, including HR systems and AI tools, to improve efficiency
- SHRM certification preferred
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative with a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves mindset
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- $35-$48/hr
- Location: Dulles, VA; must be comfortable traveling to Winchester as needed
