Position Overview
6 month temporary contract position
We are seeking a Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator to support a global legal firm’s marketing efforts, with a primary focus on LinkedIn content strategy and execution. This role will play a key part in promoting deal announcements, client updates, and press releases while ensuring content is aligned with brand standards and internal approval processes.
This is a highly collaborative, behind-the-scenes role ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
You will work as part of a small, global marketing team, partnering closely with colleagues across the U.S., UK, and Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the firm’s social media presence, with primary focus on LinkedIn
- Create, format, and publish content related to:
- Client alerts and industry updates
- Press releases and firm news
- Collaborate with attorneys, marketing stakeholders, and leadership to gather and refine content
- Coordinate internal review and approval workflows to ensure timely and compliant posting
- Maintain brand consistency and professional tone across all digital channels
- Utilize Octopost (employee advocacy platform) to amplify content and drive engagement across employee networks
- Design and edit visual assets using Canva to support social posts and announcements
- Monitor performance metrics and engagement trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Maintain and organize a content calendar to align with firm initiatives and priorities
- Ensure all content adheres to legal industry standards, confidentiality requirements, and compliance guidelines
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in social media or digital marketing (preferably within a large, national or global organization)
- Strong experience managing LinkedIn content for corporate or B2B environments
- Proficiency in Canva for creating professional, branded marketing assets
- Hands-on experience with Octopost or similar employee advocacy platforms
- Experience supporting press releases, corporate communications, or thought leadership content
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in written communication and proofreading
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple approvals and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a law firm or professional services organization
- Familiarity with legal marketing or regulated industry communications
- Exposure to working with global teams or international stakeholders
