Global technology investment and development firm located in Hudson Yards, Manhattan, is seeking to hire a proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful individual to join its Human Capital group as a Long-term Temporary Coordinator on the Learning & Development (L&D) team for at least six months. This team helps execute a range of learning and employee development initiatives designed to support professional growth, engagement, and connection across the firm.

The role will work closely with colleagues across Human Capital and the broader organization to deliver high-quality, professional learning programs. A high performer in this role may be considered for full-time employment at the firm.

This position requires 3 days on-site (Tues-Thurs) with Mondays/Friday remote from 8/9-5/6pm daily, with light overtime expected. Pay up to $40/hour DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate L&D programs from planning to execution, including managing logistics, scheduling, communications, materials, and setup for in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, facilitators, participants, and external vendors to support the smooth delivery of trainings, workshops, onboarding experiences, and other professional development initiatives.
  • Track participation data, maintain accurate program records, and collect and organize feedback to support program reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement of L&D offerings and operations by sharing insights from feedback and day-to-day execution to enhance both efficiency and the learner experience.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any field of study; one to two years of professional experience involving multitasking, problem solving, event and project coordination, human resources, or learning program support is preferred.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a variety of teams and stakeholder groups.
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a collaborative approach, with an openness to taking on a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Interest in generative AI and a desire to use it to improve and reimagine tools, workflows, and deliverables.
  • A client-service mindset and an interest in improving processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and participant experience.
  • An interest in employee development, learning design, training operations, or broader human capital work.
