Our client a real estate investment company is seeking a Leasing Consultant on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Conduct apartment tours and guide prospective residents through the leasing process
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person with a strong customer-service focus
- Follow up consistently with prospects to convert leads into signed leases
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective residents to support occupancy and retention
- Assist with lease applications, renewals, and move-in coordination
- Maintain accurate leasing records and update CRM/leasing systems
- Collaborate with property management team on daily operations and leasing strategy
About You:
- Previous relevant experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor
- Ability to confidently close leases and proactively follow up with leads
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resident-facing environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Customer-service oriented with strong relationship-building skills
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $20-$22/hr
- Perm Salary Range: ~$50K base + $75-$100 commission per signed lease
- Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 9:00am-6:00pm (one weekday off)
- Fully onsite
