Our client is seeking a polished, proactive Office Manager / Administrative Assistant to support a newly built Greenwich office within a private investment firm. This is a front‑of‑house and operations‑focused role that will sit at reception while also supporting internal teams and helping maintain a high‑end, client‑ready office environment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go‑to person in a small office, is comfortable interacting with senior leadership, and can take ownership of day‑to‑day operations. Hours are 8:45am-5:00pm with minimal overtime, and the role is fully onsite five days per week in CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the front‑of‑house presence, welcoming guests and maintaining a polished, professional office environment
  • Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, ensuring the office is well‑maintained, organized, and fully stocked
  • Support 1-2 team members initially, with potential to take on additional administrative responsibilities over time
  • Coordinate with vendors, building management, and service providers to maintain the office space
  • Assist with calendar management, scheduling, and general administrative support
  • Partner with operations and admin teams across the firm
  • Support event planning, including firmwide gatherings and annual conferences
  • Maintain office systems and processes, helping to establish structure in a growing space
  • Monitor and maintain office details (supplies, plants, layout, presentation) to meet leadership standards
  • Act as a flexible, hands‑on team member, stepping in wherever needed

Qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of administrative, office management, or hospitality experience
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact confidently with C‑suite and senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable sitting at reception and being the first point of contact
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, self‑starting mindset with the ability to take ownership
  • Ability to multitask and operate in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional presence with strong judgment and poise
  • Open on background (administrative, hospitality, or similar)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Up to $110K-$130K base salary
