Our client, a nonprofit research organization is seeking a HR Manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.

About The Job:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Manage benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Maintain HR systems, reporting, and employee data (HRIS/ATS management)
  • Support compensation benchmarking and salary analysis
  • Assist with immigration-related processes in partnership with external counsel
  • Support employee relations, compliance, and HR operations
  • Contribute to training, development, and process improvement initiatives

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of HR experience with a strong generalist background
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with employment-based immigration processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional and approachable
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

About The Position:

  • Start Date: ASAP!
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • $38-$43/hr
  • Permanent Salary: $80K-$90K
  • Hybrid: 3 days onsite
