Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Research Assistant to support a team of Portfolio Managers and Analysts within a leading investment firm. This is a high‑volume, team‑based support role that blends executive assistance with research coordination and exposure to investment workflows. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and thrives in a fast‑paced, analytical environment. Hours are 8:00am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-5:00pm Friday, with five days onsite to start and a hybrid 4/1 schedule after a 3‑month training period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support to Portfolio Managers and Analysts
- Manage complex calendars, meetings, and scheduling across multiple stakeholders
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries
- Track and coordinate investor conferences, earnings calls, and industry events
- Liaise with brokers, banks, and investor relations teams
- Maintain and update contact lists, watchlists, and research tracking systems
- Assist with meeting preparation, including agendas, materials, and follow‑ups
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations to support the investment team
- Process and reconcile expense reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain organized filing systems and research documentation
- Support ad hoc research, note‑taking, and project work as needed
- Collaborate closely with a broader team of Research Assistants for coverage
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of administrative or Executive Assistant experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in a corporate or professional services environment (finance preferred)
- Strong calendar management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow‑through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Up to $115K base salary + discretionary bonus
