Our client, a national nonprofit organization, is seeking a DEI Program Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), inclusion initiatives, and committee activities to ensure programs and priorities stay on track
- Coordinate meetings, communications, stakeholder engagement, and governance activities across multiple workstreams
- Manage external partnership relationships, deliverables, and ongoing engagement efforts
- Maintain project plans, trackers, reports, and documentation to support EDIB initiatives
- Prepare leadership updates, presentations, communications, and implementation reporting
- Serve as a key point of coordination between internal stakeholders, committee members, ERG leaders, and external partners
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience of relevant experience
- Experience supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), affinity groups, councils, or employee engagement initiatives
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Proficiency with SharePoint and project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Temporary leave coverage assignment (approximately 12 weeks)
- Hybrid: 3-4 days onsite (Monday and Tuesday required)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
