A well established financial services organization is seeking a Vendor Management Operations Lead to take ownership of critical vendor and contingent workforce operations. This is a highly visible role that will partner with business leaders, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient execution, strong governance, and operational excellence across vendor management programs.

This is an opportunity to step into a lead level position where you can make an immediate impact, improve processes, drive reporting initiatives, and help shape the future of a growing vendor management function.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Manage the end to end contingent workforce lifecycle, including onboarding, tracking, workforce validation, and offboarding

* Serve as the central point of coordination for vendor management requests, ensuring proper intake, triage, and resolution

* Maintain and improve vendor and workforce data across enterprise systems

* Build reports, dashboards, and insights that support leadership decision making

* Oversee vendor inventories, consulting engagements, subscriptions, and enterprise service relationships

* Support vendor governance initiatives, KPI reporting, and compliance activities

* Partner with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and strengthen vendor management processes

* Coordinate responses to audit, regulatory, and oversight requests while maintaining audit ready documentation

* Own documentation, controls, procedures, and operational records to support a mature vendor management program

What We’re Looking For

* 7+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement operations, contingent workforce management, or a related field

* Strong understanding of procurement and vendor management practices

* Experience supporting compliance, regulatory, audit, or governance driven environments

* Ability to independently manage operational processes from intake through completion

* Experience creating reports, dashboards, and operational insights

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity

* Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills

* Executive presence with the ability to interact confidently with leaders and stakeholders

* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment

Schedule: Approximately 3 days in office with flexibility for remote work
