Our client, a leading medical research and healthcare organization, is seeking three temporary Digitization Technicians to support a large-scale records digitization project. This is a 7-month contract opportunity located 100% onsite in Framingham, MA, offering $18/hour and a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role involves preparing, scanning, indexing, and quality-checking medical records while ensuring compliance and organizational standards for data security and confidentiality. Job Responsibilities
- Prepare paper medical records for scanning and digitization
- Scan, index, and organize electronic records within the document management system
- Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive health information
- Assist with records management, archiving, and document organization projects
- Support the Health Information Management team with additional administrative tasks as needed
Candidate Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience with document scanning, records management, data entry, or administrative support preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- Ability to lift and move files and records weighing up to 25 pounds
- Commitment to handling confidential information with professionalism
