Our client, a mission driven nonprofit, is seeking a Campaign Customer Service Representative to join their team on a long term temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Support the daily operations of a national voter assistance hotline, assisting volunteers with technical, administrative, and resource-related needs
- Respond to volunteer inquiries, troubleshoot technology issues, and provide support across hotline systems and platforms
- Manage hotline communications, including emails, forms, volunteer updates, and resource materials
- Maintain training guides, voting information resources, and internal documentation
- Track volunteer participation and assist with data collection, reporting, and post-election activities
- Collaborate with hotline leadership and state-based contact centers to support election operations and voter assistance efforts
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant organizing, advocacy, or community engagement experience may substitute
- Strong interest in civic engagement, voting rights, nonprofit work, or public policy
- Experience with volunteer coordination, phone banking, campaign work, organizing, or voter outreach preferred
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new software and troubleshoot user issues
- Flexible and available to work extended, evening, and weekend hours during election periods
About The Position:
- Start Date: August 17th
- $20-$21/hr
- Temporary assignment through January 2027
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week
- Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Must be available to work varying shifts between 6:00 AM-11:00 PM, including evenings and weekends during peak election periods
