Our client, a growing environmental services company is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
About The Job:
* Lead HR operations for a workforce of 130+ employees, including recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and performance management
* Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried, CDL, and management positions
* Oversee compensation, benefits administration, payroll support, and annual open enrollment
* Serve as the primary resource for employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and policy guidance
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, DOT/FMCSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and Maryland employment regulations
* Partner with leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational development, and HR strategy
* Manage HR systems, reporting, analytics, training, and policy development
About You:
* Bachelor’s degree required
* 10+ years of progressive HR experience
* 5+ years of HR leadership or management experience
* Strong experience with recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and performance management
* Experience leading investigations and advising managers on HR matters
* HRIS and applicant tracking system experience required
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
* SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
About The Position:
* Start Date: ASAP!
* $43-$55/hr
* Permanent Salary: $100K-$140K
* Fully onsite
* Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Personal vehicle recommended for commute
