Our client, a nonprofit research organization is seeking a Marketing Associate to join their team on a long-term temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Support marketing campaigns designed to increase article submissions, brand awareness, and journal growth
- Track and analyze marketing and journal data, reporting on campaign performance and key metrics
- Conduct audience research and help develop marketing plans to support business goals
- Coordinate digital and print marketing materials with internal teams and external vendors
- Manage social media channels and support relationships with outside partners and associations
- Assist with trade shows, sponsorships, and other marketing initiatives
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required
- 2+ years of marketing experience; publishing or journal experience preferred
- Experience with social media management, marketing campaigns, and data analysis
- Knowledge of digital, print, and social media marketing strategies
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Experience working with external vendors and stakeholders preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel and assist with trade show logistics
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- 6+ month contract opportunity
- $25-$28/hr
- Potential salary range: $55K-$65K
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
