Our client, a global private equity and investment advisory firm based in Manhattan, is seeking a Temporary Admin Floater to join their pool of candidates for any upcoming coverage needs. There is no set start date, as this role will be utilized on an as-needed basis when coverage opportunities arise within the team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, with flexibility for overtime as needed. This position is fully onsite, five days per week. Compensation is $50/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide planned and unplanned coverage for EAs during vacation, illness, and peak workload.
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and domestic/international travel with accuracy and urgency.
  • Support investor-facing meetings, communications, and confidential materials.
  • Coordinate closely with various admin teams to maintain consistency and alignment.
  • Handle expenses, administrative processes, and daily operational tasks with precision.
  • Act as a trusted liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offer ad hoc support for Front of House, reception coverage, and facilities tasks as needed.
  • Track actions, decisions, and outstanding items during coverage and deliver clear handovers.
  • Work with Facilities to ensure seamless guest experience, meeting room setup, catering, and VIP preparation.
  • Maintain high responsiveness, commercial awareness, and strong judgment during fast-paced periods.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years supporting senior executives; EA fundamentals must be strong.
  • Experience within financial services, advisory, or private equity preferred but not required.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and able to operate autonomously with minimal hand‑holding.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Discreet, emotionally intelligent, polished, and service-oriented.
  • Tech-savvy: Advanced MS Office; familiarity with SharePoint; AI tools (Copilot/ChatGPT) a plus.
  • Able to pivot quickly and jump into new responsibilities without hesitation.
