Our client, a membership organization is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team on a temporary with potential to extend in Arlington, Virginia.
About The Job:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries and provide operational support across HR functions
- Support onboarding, employee separations, benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee recognition programs
- Maintain and update employee-facing Workday resources, including instructional guides and training materials
- Coordinate learning and development programs, employee events, and wellness initiatives
- Process employment verifications, maintain HR records, and assist with budgeting, reporting, and departmental operations
- Support recruitment scheduling and interview coordination as needed
About You:
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of HR coordinator or HR operations experience
- Strong Workday experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Knowledge of HR processes, benefits, payroll, onboarding, and employee records management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain policies and processes to employees
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
About the Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Duration: 3 Months with potential to extend
- Pay: $28-$32/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- 100% Onsite
