Our client, a well-established insurance company in Boston, is seeking Customer Service Representatives to join their team on a 5+ month contract with potential for permanent hire. This position pays $21/hour, is based in Boston, MA, and offers a Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of office and customer service experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, text, and chat
- Respond to inquiries related to home insurance products
- Accurately enter and update customer and policy information
- Build relationships with customers, agents, and internal team members
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues
- Develop expertise on company products and processes
- Deliver a positive customer experience with every interaction
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of office experience required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Working toward or possession of a college degree preferred
- Must be local to the Boston area and able to commute onsite for training and office days
