Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Mailroom and Facilities Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Support daily mailroom operations, including processing, tracking, and delivering mail, packages, and courier deliveries
- Assist with printing requests, mailroom equipment, and maintaining related supplies
- Support facilities operations, including office setups, furniture moves, conference rooms, and general workplace requests
- Assist with events and other facilities needs throughout the building
- Provide occasional front desk coverage and assist employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors as needed
About You:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of mailroom, facilities, office services, customer service, or related experience
- Knowledge of professional printers and copiers preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service, and attention to detail
- Reliable, adaptable, comfortable with technology, and willing to assist with a variety of responsibilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- 6-month temp-to-perm
- $21-$23.50/hr
- Permanent Pay: $22.50-$24/hr
- 100% onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
- Potential overtime during events
- Metro Accessible
