This part-time Executive Assistant opportunity offers $30/hour and is 100% onsite in Boston with a flexible schedule of approximately 25 hours per week (typically 9:00 AM-2:00 PM or 10:00 AM-3:00 PM). The position is temp-to-hire with the potential for hours to increase to full-time as the organization grows. The role supports a faith-based nonprofit/church organization operating across multiple locations and serving a diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive and administrative support to clergy and leadership teams.
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
- Draft and route correspondence, emails, letters, and other documents.
- Coordinate projects, assign tasks, and follow up on outcomes.
- Manage office equipment, supplies, and inventory.
- Prepare, edit, organize, and distribute documents, data, and graphics.
- Support church ministries and strategic initiatives through administrative coordination.
- Welcome visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Adapt to emerging organizational and congregational needs as they arise.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Commitment to the organization’s mission, values, and community focus.
- Strong proficiency with Mac operating systems, iPhone/iPad devices, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn or experience with Adobe InDesign and Wix Studio.
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Flexibility and adaptability to organizational growth, change, and innovation.
