Our client, a national nonprofit organization is seeking a Nonprofit Program Associate to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Coordinate and execute patient symposia, webinars, and educational programs from planning through completion
- Manage event logistics, including registration, vendors, budgets, participant communications, and onsite support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for venues, vendors, speakers, partners, and participants
- Support educational initiatives, volunteer programs, SunAWARE™, and community outreach efforts
- Maintain program documentation, tracking systems, educational resources, and event records
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination, educational programs, project management, or nonprofit operations
- Experience planning and executing in-person and virtual events
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience managing budgets, invoices, and event-related financials
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms; CRM or registration system experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel and support occasional evening or weekend events
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $23-$30/hr
- Permanent Salary: $55K-$70K
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite
- Schedule: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility for events
- Approximately 20% domestic travel required
