Our client, a leading investment management firm, is seeking a Front Desk Administrator for a 3-month maternity leave coverage assignment with the potential to extend up to 6 months. This fully onsite opportunity is located in Boston, MA, offers $28-32/hour, and begins August 31st. Candidates must be flexible to work varying shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, depending on business needs. Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and create a professional, welcoming experience
- Manage front desk operations, visitor registration, and guest check-in
- Answer and route incoming calls while handling inquiries professionally
- Coordinate with building security regarding visitor access
- Provide wayfinding assistance and information about building amenities
- Support the Director of Conference Services with hospitality initiatives
- Maintain accurate visitor records and activity logs
- Assist with coverage at other locations as needed
- Follow emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Support additional administrative and hospitality-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of reception, hospitality, client service, or front desk experience in a corporate environment
- Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and office technology proficiency
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must be local to the Boston area
- Comfortable working onsite five days per week
- Flexible to work all shift schedules and open to assignment extensions beyond the initial 3-month term
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
