Our client, a leading commercial real estate and property management firm, is seeking a Property Associate for a 3+ month contract opportunity with potential for permanent hire. This position is onsite between two Boston locations, offering $26-$28/hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. The Property Associate will provide administrative, accounting, and tenant support while helping ensure smooth daily operations across the property portfolio. Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities
- Support lease administration, document management, and filing systems
- Monitor phones, emails, and work order requests, ensuring timely responses
- Coordinate mail distribution, correspondence, reports, and office organization
- Manage conference room scheduling, meetings, events, and travel arrangements
- Assist with tenant onboarding, move-ins/move-outs, and building access requests
- Track certificates of insurance, vendor documentation, and compliance records
- Support budgeting, reporting, vendor setup, and contract administration
- Maintain contact databases and accurate property records
- Provide general administrative support to the property management team
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in commercial real estate, property management, office administration, or a related environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Experience with Yardi is highly preferred
- Strong professional writing skills for memos and tenant correspondence
- Must be comfortable working between two nearby Boston office locations
