Our client, a nationally recognized professional association, is seeking a Membership Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
* Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing support via phone, email, and CRM systems
* Handle high-volume inquiries, resolve issues, process requests, and maintain accurate customer records
* Support certification-related processes, including application processing and administrative functions
* Research and resolve customer concerns, escalating complex issues when necessary
* Provide reception support, assist with special projects, and collaborate across departments
* Manage increasingly complex stakeholder requests, payments, account updates, and escalations based on experience level
About You:
* High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
* 2+ years of customer service experience
* Strong communication, customer service, and active listening skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Strong proofreading and written communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or database experience preferred
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow established procedures, and adapt to change
* Professional, collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset
About The Position:
* Start Date: ASAP!
* $23-$25/hr
* Permanent salary: $51K-$54K
* Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
