Our client, a mission driven nonprofit organization, is seeking an Event Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Coordinate logistics for nationwide fundraising events, including 5Ks, galas, and other development initiatives
- Manage vendors, contracts, permits, event materials, registration, volunteers, and on-site event operations
- Track event budgets, process invoices, and reconcile expenses to ensure successful event execution
- Coordinate shipping, inventory, and distribution of event supplies across multiple locations
- Maintain event calendars and collaborate with internal teams to support sponsorship fulfillment and event planning
- Provide end-to-end event support, from planning through post-event evaluation
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of event planning, event logistics, meeting planning, or related experience
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, contracts, and event operations
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable traveling nationally and working occasional evenings and weekends for events
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Temporary-to-permanent
- $24-$28/hr during the contract period
- $58k-$65k once permanent (potential flexability)
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
