Our client, a growing insurance organization, is seeking a Temporary-to-Hire Customer Service Representative to join their team onsite in Andover, MA. This full-time opportunity offers $23/hour and follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. This position serves as a frontline resource for customers and business partners, handling inbound calls, answering policy-related questions, and delivering exceptional customer service within a fast-paced call center environment. Qualified candidates should have prior phone-based customer service or call center experience and be comfortable managing a high volume of inbound inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound customer and business partner inquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide Tier 1 support by answering questions, navigating customer accounts, and assisting with general policy-related inquiries.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and update records within internal systems.
  • Identify and escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Assist with outbound communications and follow-up activities as needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company products, services, and support resources.
  • Deliver a professional, efficient, and customer-focused experience on every interaction.
  • Support team initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes.

Candidate Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of customer service or call center experience required.
  • Previous phone-based customer service experience is required; retail-only experience will not be considered.
  • Banking, financial services, insurance, or other high-volume customer support experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
