About the Job

  • Lead the organization’s Total Rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Drive modernization and transformation of operations, processes, and systems.
  • Manage comprehensive benefits and retirement programs, ensuring compliance and an exceptional employee experience.
  • Oversee compensation programs and annual compensation planning.
  • Partner across teams and with executive leadership to align rewards programs with organizational goals.
  • Lead HRIS and People Systems strategy, ensuring accurate data, reporting, and system controls.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing Total Rewards team while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required; professional certifications are a plus.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefits.
  • Deep expertise in compensation strategy, benefits administration, retirement plans, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong experience with HRIS platforms, preferably UKG.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
  • Hands on experience in building and/or revamping benefits and retirement plans.
  • Strategic and tactical leader with strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability.

Details of the Role

  • Hybrid schedule with at least two days per week in the Washington, DC office.
  • Salary range: $190,000-$230,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
  • Reports to the SVP and partners closely with leadership across the organization.
  • Manage a collaborative team.
