Our client, an international professional services firm is seeking a Conference Services Associate to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About the Job:
- Coordinate conference room setups, catering, and food service for meetings and events
- Maintain conference rooms, kitchens, coffee stations, and common areas to ensure a professional, client-ready environment
- Manage inventory of food, beverages, supplies, and conference service equipment
- Support office operations, including answering phones, assisting guests, handling mail, and providing administrative support
- Assist with special events, office services, and day-to-day facility operations
- Partner with the Office Administrator to ensure exceptional hospitality and client service standards
About You:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of reception experience, preferably in a professional services or hospitality environment
- Food service, hospitality, or conference services experience preferred
- Professional, welcoming, and service-oriented demeanor
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle shifting priorities
- Comfortable with physically active responsibilities, including lifting up to 20 lbs.
About the Position:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 3 months
- $25-$30/hour
- Fully onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 10:00 AM-7:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
