HR Operations Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Pay: $25-$29/hr
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract
Schedule: Flexible hours (7:00 AM-4:00 PM, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM)
Hybrid Schedule: 1-2 days onsite per week, preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to join a busy and growing HR Operations team on a contract basis. This role will support employee lifecycle transactions, HRIS administration, vendor management, invoice processing, and various HR projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an HRIS platform, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift frequently.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS & Employee Data Management
- Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system
- Update compensation changes, employee demographic information, reporting structures, and compliance-related data
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR systems
- Support ongoing HRIS administration and employee record maintenance
HR Operations Support
- Monitor and manage a shared HR Operations inbox
- Respond to employee and HR-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with employee record corrections and administrative requests
- Troubleshoot basic HRIS issues and coordinate resolutions
- Partner with HR team members to support daily operational activities
Vendor & Invoice Processing
- Process HR-related vendor invoices through SAP
- Enter and code invoices accurately by department and location
- Coordinate with external vendors, including background screening and drug testing providers
HR Projects & Compliance
- Support HR audits, including I-9 audits and employee record reviews
- Assist with year-end HR initiatives and acquisition-related projects
- Participate in process improvement efforts and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of Human Resources, HR Operations, HR Coordinator, or related experience
- Experience working within an HRIS platform
- Strong data entry and record management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
Preferred
- UKG (UltiPro/Kronos) experience
- SAP experience
- Experience supporting high-volume employee transactions
- Experience processing employee lifecycle changes and maintaining HR records
