Our client, a cutting-edge biotechnology company in the Cambridge area, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support its executive leadership team during a leave coverage assignment. This 12-16 week contract opportunity offers a pay rate of $45/hour and a flexible schedule of 32-40 hours per week, typically between 9:00 AM and 4:00/5:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, proactive professional with experience supporting C-suite executives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable managing confidential information, and capable of balancing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to senior executives, including complex calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Coordinate Board of Directors meetings, including scheduling, materials, and logistics
  • Manage executive and investor meeting scheduling and communication
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and travel logistics
  • Coordinate conference registrations and executive attendance at industry events
  • Support document execution and tracking through DocuSign
  • Monitor document workflows to ensure timely completion and follow-up
  • Handle confidential executive, legal, and investor information with discretion
  • Assist with special projects and additional administrative initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting C-suite executives as an Executive Assistant
  • Strong calendar management and scheduling experience
  • Experience coordinating board meetings or executive-level meetings preferred
  • Proficiency with DocuSign or document workflow platforms preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Local to the Greater Boston area and available for onsite work as needed
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule ranging from 32-40 hours per week
