Our client, an innovative healthcare startup, is seeking a part-time executive assistant to support their CEO during a period of company growth. This role is based in Boston, MA, offering $38-45/ hour, is starting ASAP. The part-time hours are 4 hours a day Monday-Friday equaling 10-20 hours a week depending on needs. This part-time executive assistant will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, helping manage competing priorities, coordinate extensive travel, and ensure day-to-day operations run seamlessly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the CEO’s complex calendar, scheduling meetings across multiple time zones and stakeholder groups.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, transportation, itineraries, and meeting logistics.
  • Prepare meeting notes and follow-up communications.
  • Prioritize incoming requests and act as a gatekeeper for the CEO’s time.
  • Track action items and ensure timely follow-up on key initiatives and commitments.
  • Support scheduling for executive meetings, investor discussions, board-related activities, and customer-facing events.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-suite executives, preferably a CEO.
  • Experience working within a startup, early-stage company, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, or other high-growth environments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs, and solve problems independently.
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling/calendar management tools.
  • Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel arrangements.
