Our client, an early-stage biotechnology company focused on developing innovative cardiovascular technologies, is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Executive Assistant to support its growing leadership team. This opportunity is currently fully remote, with the expectation of future office space in the Alewife/Waltham area, and offers $45/hour for 24-30 hours per week (approximately 5-6 hours per day). The ideal candidate will have experience supporting C-level executives, thrive in a startup environment, and be comfortable handling everything from high-level executive support to hands-on administrative and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive support to C-suite leadership, including extensive calendar management, scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage meeting logistics, prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and track follow-up action items.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and related logistics.
  • Support new hire onboarding activities and collaborate with external vendors to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Create, edit, and format presentations, reports, meeting materials, and other business documents.
  • Maintain company records, filing systems, and confidential business information with a high degree of accuracy and discretion.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives, employees, vendors, and external partners while supporting special projects and operational initiatives.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience supporting C-level executives required.
  • Prior experience within a biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or startup environment preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working independently with limited direction.
  • Willingness to support a wide range of responsibilities, from executive-level projects to administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
