Our client is seeking a highly organized, proactive Coordinator to support a dynamic investment team within a rapidly growing hedge fund. This is a high-exposure investment support and operations role working closely with the Head of Trading, analysts, and investment professionals focused on IPOs and equity capital markets activity. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, client-facing, and eager to learn the investment process while serving as a strategic partner across scheduling, projects, data analysis, and workflow management. Hours are generally 8:00/8:30am-5:30/6:00pm with flexibility for overtime as needed, and the role is fully onsite five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and project support to the Primary Strategies and ECM teams
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination across internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reporting
- Support the Head of Trading and investment professionals with day-to-day workflow management
- Assist with IPO-related projects, research organization, and investment team coordination
- Synthesize information and help identify relevant updates, deadlines, and priorities for team members
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials, and supporting documentation
- Maintain and organize data, spreadsheets, and tracking systems
- Support client-facing communications and stakeholder interactions
- Utilize Excel and AI tools to analyze information and improve operational efficiency
- Manage special projects and ad hoc initiatives as requested
- Partner closely with leadership and business operations teams to ensure seamless execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of professional experience in financial services, capital markets, sales & trading, investment operations, executive support, consulting, or related environments
- Experience supporting client-facing professionals strongly preferred
- Strong Excel proficiency required
- Interest in investment management, capital markets, IPOs, and financial markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience leveraging AI tools and technology platforms preferred
- Professional, personable, and relationship-oriented communication style
- Curiosity, initiative, and desire to learn the business beyond administrative responsibilities
Compensation/Benefits:
- $120K-$140K base salary + discretionary annual bonus
