Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a New York City office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating an exceptional workplace experience, managing office operations, building strong vendor relationships, and fostering a professional, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is service-oriented and comfortable taking ownership while supporting a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team. Hours are generally 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm with occasional flexibility for overtime needs, and the role is fully onsite five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day office operations, ensuring a professional, organized, and efficient workplace environment
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, building management, facilities matters, office budgets, supplies, and workplace services
- Support and coordinate the upcoming office relocation, helping ensure a seamless transition for employees and operations
- Plan and execute office events, team gatherings, employee celebrations, catering, and culture-building initiatives
- Partner with Human Resources on onboarding logistics, new hire setup, office access, and workplace experience initiatives
- Welcome guests, maintain conference rooms and common spaces, and ensure the office consistently reflects a high standard of professionalism
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of office management, workplace operations, office coordination, or related administrative experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience within professional services, real estate, financial services, or other corporate environments preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a service-focused approach
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, facilities issues, events, and workplace operations while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to $100K base salary + paid overtime + bonus opportunity
