Our client, a national membership-based organization is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their team on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent in Washington D.C.
About The Job:
- Lead day-to-day HR operations across multiple functional areas, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and workforce planning
- Partner with managers on performance management, coaching, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employee relations matters
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, temporary staffing, and internship programs
- Administer benefits, leave programs, compensation activities, and HR compliance processes
- Develop HR reporting and workforce analytics to support organizational decision-making
- Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and learning and development initiatives
- Drive process improvements and help ensure consistent, high-quality HR service delivery
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification preferred (SHRM or PHR)
- 10+ years of progressive HR generalist experience required
- Strong experience with employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and HR operations
- Experience administering benefits, leave programs, compensation, and compliance initiatives
- Strong HRIS experience required; Dayforce required
- Proven ability to manage multiple HR functions independently while building strong relationships across the organization
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Temp Pay: $33-$45/hr
- Permanent Salary: $90K-$115K (if converted)
