Our client, a startup company located in Manhattan is looking for a Temporary Facilities Workplace Assistant to join their team. This position will start as soon as they find the right fit and will operate on an in-office schedule Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM-5:30 PM with lunch break. Compensation is up to $33/hour DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor relationships and vendor coordination
- Handle COIs and vendor documentation
- Support workplace and facilities operations
- Partner closely with the IT team on workplace initiatives
- Manage office inventory and workplace supplies
- Deliver a high-quality employee and guest experience
- Serve as a front-facing representative of the workplace team
- Assist with office growth initiatives and workplace enhancements
- Address employee concerns and workplace issues professionally
- Comfortability covering reception
Qualifications:
- Experience in workplace, facilities, office management, or related environments
- COI experience preferred
- Vendor management experience required
- Experience partnering with IT teams preferred
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to handle difficult or disgruntled individuals professionally
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving instincts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and demeanor
- No degree required
