Our client, an aerospace technology company is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Sterling, Virginia.
About The Job:
- Support HR operations across recruiting, onboarding, administration, and compliance
- Manage full-cycle recruiting support, including job postings, screening, interviews, candidate communication, offers, and checks
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including I-9/E-Verify, paperwork, equipment, training, and onboarding presentations
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data across HRIS/HCM, payroll, and benefits systems
- Assist with employee changes, benefits inquiries, payroll updates, offboarding, and HR documentation
- Support federal and multi-state employment law compliance, including ITAR/EAR requirements
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- 4+ years of HR experience, including 1+ year of recruiting or talent acquisition
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, ATS, and HRIS/HCM systems
- Knowledge of I-9, E-Verify, and core employment laws
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ability to handle confidential information
- Must meet U.S. Person requirements under ITAR
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Temp-to-Hire
- $35-$48/hr
- Permanent Salary: $75K-$100K
- Hybrid schedule: Up to 2 days onsite per week in Sterling or Winchester, VA
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Occasional travel between company sites, under 10%
