Our client, a well know retailer, located in Long Island City, Queens is seeking a Long Term Temporary Visual Merchandising Administrator for an open ended assignment. This position is 5 days on site, with the hours guaranteeing a 37.5 work week and pays up to $26.50/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Inputting new project orders into system for approval
- Ensuring order shipment accuracy
- Placing graphic file orders to support upcoming store openings
- Reviewing stock lists in Microsoft D365
- Cross-referencing databases to ensure monthly reports to headquarters are accurate
- Cross-referencing timelines in ALP and Airtable
- Monitoring photography submissions and managing corresponding digital files
- Monitoring visual merchandising portal
- Reviewing videos in advance of submission to “In the Loupe”
- Confirming that photographs and videos are most current
- Labeling project completion photographs for reports and submissions to headquarters
- Reviewing invoices
- Entering data in a variety of programs and ensuring its accuracy
- Distributing punch lists
- Coordinating scheduling vendors and retailers
- Managing document uploads for signatures in Docusign
- Tracking records in Excel and on Airtable
- Collaborating with colleagues in support of successful contract administration
- Managing digital files
- Researching sources for Point of Sale design components
- Tracking orders for out-of-scope items
- Managing digital file transfers with clients
- Checking and overseeing inventory shipments
- Serving as point of contact with Logistics team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Airtable, InDesign, and Adobe Suite
- 2+ years of administrative support experience
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk; to write and perform data entry on a desktop computer. The employee is occasionally required to sit/walk/bend; lift and/or carry no more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, frequent reading. The noise level in the work environment is usually low. The normal work schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
