Job Title: Healthcare Recruiter – Home Health & Hospice

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid or Onsite – as applicable)
Salary Range: $85,000-$90,000 base (commensurate with experience)


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Recruiter to support the hiring needs of our Home Health and Hospice services across the Charlotte metropolitan area and surrounding territories. This role plays a critical part in ensuring we attract, hire, and retain high-quality clinical and non-clinical professionals who are aligned with our mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in the home and hospice setting.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare recruitment, understands the unique regulatory and credentialing requirements of home health and hospice, and thrives in a fast-paced, high‑volume environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for home health and hospice roles, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, social workers, and other clinical and support positions
  • Partner closely with operational and clinical leadership to understand hiring needs, workforce challenges, and territory-specific requirements
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for clinical competency, cultural fit, and alignment with hospice and home health care values
  • Coordinate interviews, facilitate offer discussions, and support offer acceptance and close
  • Ensure all candidates meet licensure, credentialing, and compliance requirements prior to hire
  • Maintain accurate documentation and candidate tracking within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs
  • Promote a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Stay current on local labor market trends, healthcare hiring challenges, and competitive compensation practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3-5+ years of healthcare recruiting experience, with a strong preference for home health, hospice, or clinical staffing
  • Proven experience recruiting nursing and clinical professionals in high-demand markets
  • Working knowledge of state and federal hiring, licensure, and credentialing requirements
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
  • Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, compassionate communication style aligned with hospice and home health care culture

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience supporting home health or hospice organizations
  • High-volume or territory-based recruiting experience
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven hiring environments
