Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a fantastic firm in DC who is looking to add a Legal Executive Assistant to support a highly active group of partners on their Digital team, focused on cutting-edge work in AI and emerging technology. This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys partnering closely with senior attorneys and operating in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
This position is based in Washington, DC with a hybrid schedule (WFH on Fridays) and offers a 35-hour workweek with paid overtime.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to three partners, acting as a trusted right hand
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling across multiple time zones, and shifting priorities
- Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison, handling sensitive matters with discretion
- Maintain strong relationships with attorneys, clients, and internal teams
- Leverage technology and AI tools to streamline inbox management, scheduling, and document workflows
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics end-to-end
- Support billing processes, including expense reconciliation and time entry coordination
- Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence and presentations with strong attention to detail
- Conduct research and proactively support business and practice needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience supporting partners or senior-level executives, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
- Highly polished, organized, and detail-oriented
- Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Outlook); experience using AI tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
