Managing Counselor to $70K – Make a Lasting Impact on Academic Journeys!

Our client, a growing consulting firm, is seeking a Counselor to oversee the process of guiding students through the competitive college admissions process. This role blends leadership, client engagement, and strategic planning, including mentoring junior staff, advising students and families, and shaping application strategies. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience in consulting, finance, education, or student-facing roles, along with prior exposure to team leadership.

• Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a small team of counselors; developing individualized student strategies across academic, extracurricular, and personal development areas; advising families on the college application process; reviewing and editing application materials; tracking timelines and ensuring project completion; collaborating with internal partners to deliver a strong client experience; and representing the organization at events and external meetings.
• The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, finance, education, or student-focused environments; at least 1+ year of leadership or management experience; strong communication and client-facing skills; excellent organization and time management abilities; and a passion for mentoring students from diverse backgrounds.
