In-House Litigation Paralegal (Hybrid – Dallas, TX)

Overview

A growing corporate legal department in Dallas is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to serve as a key partner to its in-house counsel team. This role is open due to a planned retirement and offers a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible position with meaningful responsibility.

This is an ideal role for a confident, tech-savvy paralegal who thrives in a business-facing environment and enjoys improving processes, leveraging technology, and driving efficiency. The position is “litigation-light” in nature, with the company typically acting as a second party in disputes, but still requires strong core litigation skills and ownership of the function.

Location

Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)

Compensation

Base Salary: $105,000 – $110,000 + bonus potential and strong benefits package

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary litigation support professional for the legal department, acting as the right hand to in-house counsel
• Manage all phases of litigation support, including:
  • Subpoenas (intake, response, tracking, and compliance)
  • Discovery processes, including document collection, review coordination, and production
  • Drafting and responding to Requests for Production (RFPs) and other discovery requests
• Coordinate and support hearings, arbitrations, and external counsel activities
• Liaise with outside counsel to ensure efficient case management, budgeting, and alignment with internal priorities
• Organize and maintain case files, legal hold documentation, and matter tracking systems
• Assist with internal investigations and fact-gathering efforts as needed
• Drive process improvement initiatives, including identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions
• Evaluate, recommend, and help implement legal technology tools (eDiscovery platforms, matter management systems, contract tools, etc.)
• Support knowledge management and documentation of legal workflows and best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (law firm or in-house)
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Subpoenas and third-party responses
  • Discovery and document review workflows
  • Drafting and managing RFPs and related materials
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of litigation support functions
• High level of technical proficiency, including experience with eDiscovery platforms, document management systems, and legal tech tools
• Proven track record of improving processes and increasing operational efficiency
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, business-oriented environment
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
