Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Maintain and analyze general ledger activity
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
- Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, Finance, and operational teams
- Assist with process improvements and accounting system enhancements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Participate in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
