Our client in the Renewable Energy industry is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist their team with an increased workload through year end on temp-to-hire basis.
This position is fully on-site in the Oklahoma City, OK area.
The team needs immediate coverage for day-to-day accounting responsibilities while also going through audits.
Responsibilities:
- Match AP invoices to POs/receiving, resolve discrepancies with warehouse/project managers, and handle vendor setup/maintenance, including vendor packets, code of conduct, W-9s and ACH details
- Perform AR/AP account reconciliations
- Manage weekly payment runs, recurring bills, payment files, ACH templates/payees, checks, Positive Pay and wire documentation
- Perform bank/cash and balance sheet reconciliation, including prepaids, deposits, accrued purchases, accrued payroll/benefits and fixed assets
- Provide month-end close support, journal entries, and recurring accruals and allocations
- Generate reports and pull data from Great Plains
- Support audit-related reporting and documentation
Qualifications:
- Great Plains experience required
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Table and VLOOKUP skills
- Comfortable communicating with Finance leadership as well as warehouse, project, operations and commercial managers
