Accounts Receivable Specialist

Calling all Accounts Receivable professionals!! Our client, located in the North Tampa area, is looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist on a temporary‑to‑hire basis. The role is yours once you get started-you’ll begin as a temporary employee of Beacon Hill to help move the process along quickly.

While working as the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work alongside a collaborative accounting team and assist with responsibilities including:

• Managing full-cycle accounts receivable processes
• Posting and applying customer payments (checks, ACH, wires)
• Preparing and sending invoices and statements
• Researching and resolving payment discrepancies and short pays
• Following up on past-due accounts and maintaining aging reports
• Assisting with month-end close related to AR
• Various related duties and projects as needed

This is an incredible opportunity with a company that has a large accounting department and offers significant room for growth and advancement. This is an in-office position; however, the daily schedule is flexible.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience
• A BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred, not required)
• Experience working in a mid-to-large sized accounting environment
• Large ERP system experience
• Intermediate MS Excel skills
