Senior Accountant

Our client is a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team in a visible, hands-on role. The company is located in Portland and is looking for someone to work a hybrid schedule with flexibility. This is an opportunity to get started quickly, avoid a long interview process, and become part of the Beacon Hill Financial team while supporting our client on-site.
As a Senior Accountant in this position, you would be responsible for:
- General ledger
- Month-end close
- Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations
- Reviewing A/P activity for accuracy and compliance
- Assisting with audit preparation
- Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Reconciling bank accounts, payroll, accounts receivable, and cash activity
- Supporting financial reporting and analysis
- Working in Excel to support reconciliations and reporting
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
- Various related ad hoc projects
This person will have strong visibility with leadership and the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way. It is an excellent setup for someone who enjoys ownership, variety, and being part of a growing organization.
If you have:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience working in an ERP or accounting system environment
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
