Job Summary:

The Senior Credit Analyst (Manufacturing) is responsible for establishing credit limits for new accounts or reviewing credit limits for existing customers. This position is responsible for overseeing accounts to ensure timely payments and to keep them within their designated credit limits. In addition, the Senior Credit Analyst works to resolve any customer disputes or complaints and escalates to the credit manager if determined that the customer is unwilling or unable to pay in accordance with agreed upon payment terms.  This is a direct hire (permanent) opportunity.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees all credit and collection responsibilities.
• Establishes internal credit limits for customers through comprehensive analysis, including financial statement review, operational assessment, and high-level customer discussions.
• Secures credit insurance when appropriate to support customer credit limits.
• Conducts ongoing reviews of existing customer credit limits, with formal annual reviews.
• Makes internal credit decisions up to $250k and prepare credit recommendations for the credit committee for decisions above this amount based on comprehensive analysis and review.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years of commercial credit experience as Senior Credit Analyst or equivalent
