Beacon Hill Financial is working with an insurance brokerage to bring an experienced Senior Direct Bill Specialist to their growing team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing transactions, cash receipts processing, reconciliations, auditing activities, reporting, and issue resolution. This role will operate along East Coast hours. If you have 3+ years of experience, please apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all Direct Bill operations for assigned regions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Manage cash receipt activities, including posting, reconciliation, and monitoring of operating accounts
- Retrieve, review, process, and post Direct Bill statements while ensuring all activity is accurately accounted for
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
- Conduct audits and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with company standards and operational procedures
- Support and guide offshore processing teams through training, coaching, and troubleshooting assistance
- Prepare and analyze operational metrics and reporting to identify trends, improve efficiency, and ensure service-level targets are achieved
- Manage complex accounts, escalated transactions, and high-priority issues requiring detailed analysis and stakeholder collaboration
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistency and operational excellence
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal departments, external partners, and carriers through timely and professional communication
