Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the cleanup of outstanding and aged accounts payable and purchase order items.
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and accurate posting.
• Prepare and process weekly vendor payment runs and resolve payment exceptions.
• Process purchase orders and perform invoice-to-PO matching.
• Research and resolve invoice, vendor, payment, and purchase order discrepancies.
• Prepare assigned balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities and assist with clearing outstanding reconciling items.
• Respond to vendor and employee questions regarding invoices, payments, reimbursements, and expenses.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Assist with payroll accounting activities, including payroll-related journal entries and account activity.
